Occupational Therapy Whitsunday staff works collaboratively with parents, educators and other allied health professionals to modify tasks and design environments that support your child’s best performance.
Occupational Therapy Whitsunday can be provided in a variety of settings. I enjoy working with children and their families at the following venues:
- Rooms at Proserpine Community Centre
- Rooms at Strathdickie
- Home visits
- Therapy and assessment at school/kindy/day-care.
- An experienced telehealth provider
I am a registered provider with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). I am also an accredited NDIS Early Intervention provider, have registration with Medicare for Better Access to Mental Health (BAMH) and Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plans and also with private health insurance companies. I heavily invest in my ongoing professional development through courses, clinical supervision and private study.
Current best practice standards indicates that team collaboration with those involved in your child’s care including teachers, grandparents, child-care providers, GP’s, specialists and other therapists is the best service for your child.
