Occupational Therapy Assistant

Claire Foti

You’re braver than you believe and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
Claire Foti

I started working with Occupational Therapy Whitsunday in 2021 and am currently studying to for a bachelor of Occupational Therapy.  With experience in school settings and three children of my own, I love working with families and children across all age groups and am passionate about improving health and wellbeing in enjoyable and imaginative ways.

As well as helping our clients and their families to achieve goals, I also assist the team with administrative tasks and supportive resources.

I love this quote from A.A.Milne, author of the Winnie the Pooh books,

“You’re braver than you believe and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think”, which endorses my practice principles of a person-centred, strength-based approach applied in combination with fun and creativity, to help children to be the best they can be.
