Occupational Therapy Whitsunday staff works collaboratively with parents, educators and other allied health professionals to modify tasks and design environments that support your child’s best performance.
Occupational Therapy Whitsunday can be provided in a variety of settings. We enjoy working with children and their families at the following venues:
- Rooms at Proserpine
- Rooms at Strathdickie
- Home visits
- Therapy and assessment at school/kindy/day-care.
- Via Tele-health (phone or video)
We are a registered provider with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), are an accredited NDIS Early Intervention provider, have registration with Medicare as Mental health O.T.’s via Better Access to Mental Health (BAMH) as well as Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plans. We also work with private health insurance companies. We heavily invest in ongoing professional development through courses, clinical supervision, in-house and private study.
Current best practice standards indicates that team collaboration with those involved in your child’s care including teachers, grandparents, child-care providers, GP’s, specialists and other therapists is the best service for your child.
