30+ years of Occupational Therapy has led me in many directions, but none so fun and rewarding as with the children, families and staff at Occupational Therapy Whitsunday. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and a community to support a family. I am highly committed to supporting rural communities – especially this amazing one! In 2019 I was awarded the Health Workforce “Backbone of the Bush” award for services to my local community.
I am passionate about providing an accessible, enjoyable, friendly and fun service enabling your child to blossom with positive gains, and for families to feel supported and grow in knowledge and confidence.

My Occupational Therapy career has spanned over 18 years, with clinical speciality areas in mental health, early childhood intervention, autism, restricted and fussy eating and toileting.

Sian Rose
I joined the OT Whitsunday team in 2018 and after some time away for maternity leave I re-joined the team in 2021. I am very passionate about working with children and supporting them to reach their goals.
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Claire Foti
I started working with Occupational Therapy Whitsunday in 2021 and am currently studying for a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. As well as helping our clients and their families to achieve goals, I also assist the team with administrative tasks and supportive resources.
Therapy Assistant - Yoga
Anita Perryman
Anita joins our team with almost 10 years supporting unique children in an education setting. She has a Certificate III in Education Support and has also completed 70 hours training in Just for Kids Yoga as well as Yoga Therapy for individualised needs.
Therapy Assistant – Taekwondo
Mr. Paul Martin
Mr. Martin is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, a retired Australian Army Officer and current active volunteer in VMR.
